Braided archwires are made of eight braided stainless-steel filaments, which provide greater flexibility and produce forces with magnitude lower than those produced by solid steel archwires.

Application and Benefits

Braided archwires are an excellent choice for the transition between round and rectangular steel archwires and can be used for the initial stages of torque and rotational control.

They are ideal for the finalization phase of the treatment to promote intercuspation with torque control.
